The next hero for our #LGBTHistoryMonth series, brought to our attention by our amazing ‘Out at Greenbelt‘ volunteer team, is Alison Webster.

For a generation of gay women, Alison’s writings have captured something of what it means to hold tension in sexuality, faith and gender. She worked for the Student Christian Movement and the Institute for the Study of Christianity and Sexuality, and more recently for the Church of England in Worcester and Oxford. Alison’s commitment to social justice focuses on empowering and engaging others to be aware of and act – in relation to racial inequality, mental health, loneliness and isolation, and dementia.
