If you want to be inspired by what is possible, then explore the vision of Christian Aid, who commissioned a new orchestral work called ‘Song of the Prophets: a Requiem for the Climate’ and premiered it at St Paul’s Cathedral just before the G7 met in Cornwall in the summer.
The music is inspired by Song of the Prophets: a global theology of climate change and performed by the world-renowned Chineke Orchestra. The 12-minute piece is split into four movements, each composed by a different Black British composer and includes musicians playing instruments from countries that are among those suffering most in the climate crisis.
