Please join us next Tuesday, September 28, at 8pm UK time for ‘No Normal’ – a world premiere livestream of short films from four incredible Muslim artists; all part of a commissioned project curated by Chicago-based Asad Ali Jafri with the generous support of @weareamal . The films’ premier will be followed by a post-show conversation between the curator and some of the artists.
Featuring Birmingham-based street artist Mohammed Ali and Bristol-based spoken word artist Muneera Pilgrim, plus, from the States, band The Reminders and dancer Amirah Sackett. The films are narrated by long-time festival friend Abdul-Rehman Malik and edited by Ahmed Zaghbouni.
