Patience is a lost art in a world where some people can’t read this far in a sentence without checking their phones. We live in such an always-on, super-fast, results-driven, hyper-connected world, that moving slowly and patiently is practically counter-cultural. Perhaps because we’re a festival that comes to life for just four days out of every 365, we’ve got a slightly different take on time. We worship the slow burn of olive trees and cathedrals – things that take time to come to fruition and have permanence and lasting value.
