Our festival communion service at #gb17 is one that will live long in the memory of all who were there. Entitled “Bring a Body”, it was designed to reflect and celebrate how radically inclusive we believe the church can and should be.
We worked with our Associate Partner Livability to design an accessible and inclusive service – energised by the belief that each of us gathered at Greenbelt (or gathered anywhere) reflects the whole image and character of God.
If we allow anyone to be excluded, either by accident or thoughtlessness or prejudice, we will see God less clearly. The more we recognise our common humanity, the sharper our image of God will be.
