Originally from Derby, England, in 2012, Josh Okeefe dropped out of school, travelled across the Atlantic and landed in Nashville in search of the places his idols – Hank Williams and Johnny Cash – had lived and played. He soon became a regular in the music clubs there, meeting other musicians and writing songs at an astonishing pace. He recorded his debut album himself in his log cabin using borrowed vintage kit from local legendary studios. Josh has already performed with the likes of Alison Krauss and sung at both national and local protests. We know Greenbelt is going to fall for him. Big time. #gb19 #WitAndWisdom 😄🤔
