Ms Mohammed is a force of nature. With her distinctive fender bender guitar style, she's blazing a bright trail in the music business with her punk-glues-indie fusion sound. Her performances are celebratory ā uniting people across their differences. In the face of austerity, Brexit, the #MuslimBan and the rise of the far right she adopted the moniker Ms Mohammed as it felt more vital than ever for her to symbolise a collective otherness. A bold move, considering she isnāt Muslim and both her parents are Christians. But this gritty, resolute sense of purpose is what fuels Ms Mohammed's life and music.
