Lauri Love is a British-Finnish computer scientist with a long history of political activism. Earlier this year, he won a landmark legal victory when the High Court ruled that he could not be extradited to the United States, where he faced a potential 99-year prison sentence for his alleged involvement in #OpLastResort, the series of online protests that followed the persecution and untimely death of Aaron Swartz.
