Join us for a cooking livestream with Palestinian cook Phoebe Rison of Sabeel-Kairos: Seeking a just peace for Palestine and our lovely partners Amos Trust. Together, we’ll make traditional Palestinian
Christmas dishes while we learn about the current situation in Palestine. You’re welcome to cook-along or just watch, learn and drool. On the menu:
– Kubbe Sunniya – Phoebe’s husband calls this ‘Palestinian Pie’
– Jewelled Fattoush – a salad that Phoebe says ‘tastes like home’
– Rose Awwameh – a sweet pudding made from fried dough
– Plus, a garlicky, minty cucumber yoghurt
– All served with pickles, olives and lemon
