In Palestine, stories have traditionally been passed down by word. Even land right, ownership and other legal matters have all been agreed verbally. They tell their stories, to ensure the world won’t forget them, even more so than we already seem to have.

It’s good to talk. And to listen. To cultivate the precious art of conversation. After a year when the pandemic has isolated us further from one another we’re reminded that we need to keep talking to one another, face-to-face, if we are ever to learn to live together as humans, with equal rights and value.

That’s why we’re wrapping up our Made in Palestine Advent events with a conversation. Katherine and Paul, your usual podcast hosts and two wonderful members of our staff team, will be speaking to Palestinian spoken word artist and human rights activist Rafeef Ziadah. https://www.greenbelt.org.uk/made-in-palestine/#palestine-podcast
