Harry Baker invites his good friend Zia Ahmed to join him for Woken Spurred – bringing yet another stellar artist to us in this weird and wonderful Wild at Home summer.

Hailing from North West London, Zia is, in fact, a ‘London Laureate’ no less, having been shortlisted to be the Young Poet Laureate for London back in 2015/16.

A former Roundhouse Poetry Slam champion, Zia was the Channel 4 Paines Plough ‘Playwright in Residence’ in 2016/2017. Also part of the Bush Theatre's Emerging Writers Group 2018/19, Zia has built a golden reputation among his peers and with his audiences. We can’t wait to hear him on Woken Spurred.
