Dr Matt Winning is a London-based Scottish comedian and environmental economist. In 2017 and 2018 Matt performed sold-out runs of his third and fourth solo shows ‘Filibuster’ and ‘Climate Strange’ at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Both were built as storytelling lectures about climate change and received considerable critical acclaim. With a PhD in climate change policy, Matt can be seen as the environmental correspondent on Dave’s ‘Unspun with Matt Forde’. His show for this year is simply called: 'The End Of The World As We Know It'. As part of our festival focus on climate change and our response, Matt will make us laugh at the size of the challenge, but in a way that we want to do something about it
