After putting on a summer of free content, we had expected a few questions about why we’ve chosen to charge for our upcoming festival weekend. But rather unsurprisingly, you lovely lot have been more than happy to go with the flow and have instead gone out of your way to support and encourage us. Thank you!

We do feel it’s important to talk about it though. (Almost) every year when we meet in the field, the artists, musicians, performers, speakers and comedians inspire us and help us to feel more connected to ourselves, each other and our faith.

Creativity and the arts can often be taken for granted, especially now, in a time when free content is only ever a few clicks away. But we couldn’t put on this digital festival weekend without finding a way to make sure all the people involved are being paid for their valuable work and time.

We know that you already know this – that’s why you’ve been so happy to pay. But some things just need to be said out loud.

Passes for the weekend are £10. Once you’ve purchased your pass, we’ll send you your login code – your digital wristband for the day – which you’ll be able to use on one device at a time, and then you’re just a click away from carefully curated Greenbelt goodness. You can even bring your dog.

  1. Absolutely the right thing to do….. those performers sharing their talents and giving their time must be rewarded for doing so. This has been & will continue to be such a difficult time for them all. So many of them have given so much for free during lockdown to keep people’s spirits up, but we must appreciate they need to earn a living 🧡

  2. Take the silence as meaning something like “we think you’re brilliant doing this, and we want to be involved”. Should have said that sooner…

  3. Is there anyway to find/match up with local attendees for Sunday?
