We've booked in a beach clean for between Christmas and New Year!
Please join us if you can. Whether you're a local, or you'll be here on holiday, everyone is welcome to pop down and get stuck in. The Croyde tideline is currently covered in Nurdles and small plastics unfortunately; not to mention the larger bits of rubbish and fishing gear that get stuck between the rocks at Downend. With many hands on deck we should be able to make a good difference to the situation, positively impacting the lives of marine species in our area.
Thanks to Ruda Holiday Park for agreeing to collect and recycle the rubbish for us, Down End Car Park, Croyde for offering free car parking for beach cleaners, and The Thatch for offering us hot soup for beach cleaners too!
