[ad_1]

The tides are high this year, come and join us and swim Croyde Bay on Fathers day for a fun open ocean swim, designed to encourage participation and build confidence. The short course will challenge your courage and ability as you head out beyond the surfline and stroke out across the bay and back. Marked and marshalled by competent qualified surf lifesavers, you're invited to 'give it a go' in a spirit of participation, after all we're not racing at this inaugural event at Oceanfest. Swim places are LIMITED so please book your slot here.
All Swimmers must wear wetsuits, for your own safety and you will be issued with a hi-viz swim cap and athlete number on registration. We suggest you wear goggles! All entrants must be capable of swimming at least one mile in open water. Entry fee is £10 – each swimmer receives a certificate on completion of the swim. Due to safety considerations, timings are approximate and always dependent on weather and tidal conditions.
