FLY OPEN AIR – NEW DATES – 22 & 23 MAY 2021
It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of FLY Open Air 2020. Our new festival dates will now take place in 2021 at Hopetoun House on the 22nd & 23rd of May. All headliners have been re-confirmed and we have added some huge additional acts to the lineup that will be announced shortly. All tickets purchased are valid for the new dates.
We want to thank you for your patience. We could not have foreseen this terrible pandemic going on for so long and have tried every possible avenue to bring you a festival this year. Yesterday, we held a Safety Advisory Group with the council proposing a safe, socially distanced event where revellers could dance on a platform pods remaining 2m apart… that was not possible but is it even what we want?!
We want to dance together, kiss our friends and hug strangers on the dance floor. We want to feel the sweat on our clothes and get lost in the music. We want to escape with similar minds and similar hearts and have festivals that never lose that feeling of positivity through music.
2021 will be our biggest year yet and we kindly ask that you support our small independent festival by holding onto your tickets. If however, you cannot make these dates you will shortly receive an email advising you of the refund process.
We look forward to seeing you next year. Together we will dance again.
