About
We Out Here was founded in 2019 by Gilles Peterson and is held in August. After its early years in Cambridgeshire, it moved to the St Giles House estate at Wimborne St Giles in Dorset in 2023.
The music reflects Peterson's taste: jazz, soul, Brazilian music, Afrobeat, broken beat, house, dub and hip-hop, with live bands by day and DJs by night. The crowd knows its records, and the atmosphere is friendly and family-friendly.
