About
Tramlines began in 2009 as a free, multi-venue festival in Sheffield city centre. Since 2018 it has been based in Hillsborough Park, in the north-west of the city, with a fringe programme still running in venues across Sheffield.
The main stage goes big on indie and guitar bands, alongside pop, rap and dance, and the crowd is proudly local and loud. It's a three-day city festival rather than a camping one, so it's easy to dip in and out of.
