About
Takedown started in Southampton as an indoor all-dayer for rock, metal and punk. After a long break it came back in 2023 at Portsmouth Guildhall, where it now runs as a spring weekend.
The bill mixes established heavy bands with plenty of rising UK acts across the Guildhall's rooms, and the indoor setting means no mud and no tents. It's a good early-season warm-up for the summer festivals.
