About
Dublin's St Patrick's Festival has been held since 1996 and runs for several days around 17 March. It's Ireland's biggest celebration of its national day.
The parade on St Patrick's Day winds through the city centre with pageant groups, marching bands and street theatre. Around it there's a programme of music, céilÃs, family events, talks and Irish-language events across the city.
