About

Radio 1's Big Weekend is BBC Radio 1's annual festival, held in a different UK city each year since it began in 2003. Tickets are free and handed out by ballot, so getting one is part of the excitement.

The bill covers the station's playlist: pop, rap, dance and indie, from the biggest names in the charts to new acts on the BBC Introducing stage. It's broadcast live on radio, TV and online, so even if you don't get a ticket you can follow most of it.
