About
Parklife was set up in 2010 by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel, the team behind Manchester's Warehouse Project. After its early years at Platt Fields it moved to Heaton Park, in the north of the city, in 2013.
It's a two-day, non-camping weekend in June that mixes pop and rap headliners with house, techno, grime and UK rap across a set of themed stages. The crowd is young and mostly from the north-west.
