About

Øya started in Oslo in 1999. Since 2014 it has been based in Tøyenparken, a park in the east of the city.

The bill covers indie, pop, rap, electronic and Norwegian acts, and the festival is known for its environmental work, with most of the power from renewable sources and mostly organic food. A club programme, Klubbøya, runs in venues around Oslo.
