About

Nova Rock started in 2005 on the Pannonia Fields at Nickelsdorf, in Austria's Burgenland, close to the Hungarian border.

It's Austria's biggest rock festival, with rock, metal, punk and hard rock headliners and a big campsite. The site is flat open farmland, so a good summer can be hot and dusty, and the crowd comes from Vienna, Hungary and Slovakia as well as across Austria.
