About

Independent Venue Week has run since 2014 in late January and early February. It was founded by Sybil Bell to celebrate the small music venues across the UK, and the people who run them.

Hundreds of grassroots venues take part, with gigs from local bands and well-known acts playing much smaller rooms than usual. It's a good time to discover your local venue and the bands it supports.
