About
Focus Wales started in Wrexham in 2011 and takes place each May. It's a showcase festival: hundreds of new acts from Wales and around the world play venues across the town centre over three days.
The music covers indie, rock, folk, electronic and rap, with a strong showing of Welsh-language artists, and there's an industry conference running alongside. It's well organised, friendly and a good place to hear bands before they break.
