FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicàssim) started in 1995 in the resort town of Benicàssim, on Spain's Mediterranean coast.
The bill mixes indie, rock, pop and electronic, and it has long been popular with British festival-goers, who combine it with a holiday by the sea. The site is a short walk from the town and the beach, the music runs late with DJs after the headliners, and days tend to be spent asleep or on the sand.
