About
Fairport's Cropredy Convention is hosted by the folk-rock band Fairport Convention in the village of Cropredy, near Banbury in north Oxfordshire. It takes place over three days in early to mid-August.
There's one stage, so no clashes, and the bill mixes folk, rock, blues and pop acts, with Fairport closing on Saturday night with a long set. The crowd is loyal and older than most, and the village joins in.
