About

Desertfest London started in Camden in 2012 and comes back over a long weekend in early May. It takes over venues around Camden High Street and Chalk Farm Road, from the Roundhouse and Electric Ballroom to the smaller rooms.

It's the UK's main festival for stoner rock, doom, sludge, psych and heavy rock, with sister events in Berlin and Antwerp. The crowd is denim-and-patches, the riffs are slow and loud, and Camden's pubs fill up between sets.
