Derry~Londonderry has one of the biggest Halloween celebrations in Europe, running over several days around 31 October. The walled city is the backdrop.
There's a carnival parade on the night with costumes, music and street theatre, fireworks over the River Foyle, plus spooky trails, family events and music across the city. Dressing up is not optional. Pubs and venues put on gigs and club nights across the week, and visitors come from all over Ireland and beyond.
