About
Cheltenham Jazz Festival has run since 1996 and takes place in late April and early May. It's organised by Cheltenham Festivals, who also run the town's literature, music and science festivals.
The hub is a tented site in Montpellier Gardens, with gigs also at the Town Hall and other venues. The programme mixes big jazz, soul and pop names with new talent, plus a lot of free music on the open-air stage.
