BIME started in Bilbao in 2012. It's both a festival and a music industry conference.

The main concerts take place at the BEC exhibition centre, with more shows in venues across the city. The bill mixes international indie, rock and pop with Spanish and Basque acts. The conference has a strong link with the Latin American music industry.
