Today would have marked the 135th birthday of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. It was his hope that Portmeirion would be a place for all future generations to enjoy, a place that would bring people together and inspire creativity. Without Sir Clough there would be no Portmeirion, and therefore no Festival No.6.
