Funk in Da Trunk features some of St. Roch Catholic Secondary School’s finest and liveliest musicians. They are a 10-piece funk band, which includes a 3-piece horn section. Keeping things tight and to the point, the horn section includes David, Matthew, and Patrick. Matteo and Samantha are at the heart of the rhythm and groove section playing drums and bass respectively. Benjamin and Jazzlyn provide the spark and energy needed on guitar. On Keys, keeping it funky and smooth, we have Kenrich. And last but not least, on lead vocals we have our movers and our shakers, Delaine and Joema. As their band name suggests, funk music is a major influence. Their formula is simple…to fuse funk with today’s youthful voice. Funk in Da Trunk has been making quite a name for themselves and the sky is the limit for these new up and comers! We hope you enjoy!
