On the 1986 live without a net full concert Hagar did an amazing job and completely changed the way I listened to his era

I was 9rs old in 1984. My best friends mom took us to see them in her Corvette Stingray. She even took us to tailgate before hand. Connie, if you are still out there you were the coolest mom to ever walk the planet. You gave us the most unforgettable concert experience we ever had. Mike, I dont know where you are these days but i know you are still the coolest motherfucker that also ever walked the planet. I still love you both all these years later. You have definitely watched this i just hope you read this…
There may be guitarists alive today who are more technically proficient than Edward, who can play faster and execute more difficult runs, but who cares?! Eddie, like Hendrix before him, was a shock to the system! He literally changed the game, he possessed the greatest technical proficiency of his day, Hell! he invented a whole new style of playing! He turned the Guitar World on its head and even changed how guitars were made forever for Christ's sake! Unlike so many other players Ed's fiery technique was linked to an astounding melodic sensibility and punk-jazz-like phrasing and as if that wasn't enough he wrote timeless songs!! Add to all of that his unparalleled innovation (too in-depth to mention here) and sense of bouncing joy in every note he played and you've got the one, the only, Edward Van Halen! Like Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali or Buddy Rich, there will never be another EVH! RIP GOAT ❤️🎸
What more can really be said? The greatest rock and roll party band ever with the greatest rock guitar player who ever lived! Every Van Halen song is a magical summer day! Technical prowess mixed with infectious melody and groove, the recipe for The Mighty Van Halen! Music that stirred the emotions!
Van Halen should've hired Fred Schneider from B-52's after DLR was gone. The perform in the same maner, only Fred pronounces all of the lyrics.
