FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS: Roberto Carrasco – Lo Soñé (EMASHIE Version)

Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

From the EMASHIE album “In The Mood” (2008)

Composed and performed by Roberto Carrasco
(Music by Roberto Carrasco / Lyrics by Miguel Ferreira & Roberto Carrasco)

In 2008 while I was still performing with my friends from EMASHIE they asked me to compose a latin song so that we could add also something in Spanish to the international World Music repertoire of the band. So I did. The song was then chosen as a single from the album “In The Mood”, was played on several radio stations in Switzerland and we played it live on our tours in Europe from 2008 – 2010 (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Hungary). Highlights among the many places were also the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and the Sziget Festival in Budapest (Hungary).
