MUTEK Forum, the professional part of the festival, started yesterday. This first 100% online edition is held for 10 days this year. Each day, HOLO offers a summary of the day and a preview of the next day’s program, all presented by Claire L. Evans. Take a look of the first recap!
In this kick-off episode, HOLO is joined by prolific London-based sound artist Yuri Suzuki. A partner at the design studio Pentagram, Suzuki works in installation and instrument design, often signalling a deep reverence for electronic music (highlights include: a synth he designed for Jeff Mills and his reimagination of Raymond Scott’s Electronium).
