Sit back and relax as Chick warms up for a Facebook live stream and plays through a classic Bill Evans tune, “Waltz for Debby”. Chick was inspired to play this piece on his livestream after speaking with longtime friend, drummer Jack DeJohnette, who played with the Bill Evans Trio for a stint in 1968.
After playing, Chick reminds the audience that this classic piece was in fact written for Bill Evans’ niece, Debby.
