Artist-in-residence Julia Lezhneva, Rolando Villazón and Sir András Schiff, Riccardo Chailly and the Filarmonica della Scala, Matthias Pintscher and an ensemble of the LUCERNE FESTIVAL ALUMNI, Mariss Jansons and the Bavarian Radio: these classical music stars ensured a spectacular opening to the Festival year.
