A special promotional video announcing the Bellingham Festival of Music’s 27th season. This special 2020 year celebrates the 250th birthday of Beethoven and prominently features The Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Michael Palmer, performing this great composers classical masterworks including: Symphony No. 1, the Triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano, featuring Edith Kraft, piano and principal players from the Festival Orchestra and his Violin Concerto. This special season will also feature Beethoven’s greatest accomplishment – Missa Solemnis, featuring the Festival Chorus and soloists: Katie Van Kooten, soprano; Ellen Graham, mezzo-soprano; Jon Irvin, tenor & Clayton Brainerd, bass baritone.

All concerts with the Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Michael Palmer.

The Bellingham Festival of Music is one of the premier classical music festivals in North America – featuring renowned American conductor, Maestro Michael Palmer as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Festival Orchestra. The orchestra features principal players from many leading North American orchestras and virtuoso players from around the world. Since 1993, the Bellingham Festival has been playing to sold out audiences and many performances have been broadcast throughout the world and on the Internet.
