āAmbient Wavesā ist ein modernes āUpdateā der in den 70er Jahren in Deutschland entstandenen Musikrichtung “Kosmische Musik”, die hauptsƤchlich mit elektronischen Musikinstrumenten (Synthesizer) gespielt wurde.
Vorbilder fĆ¼r diese Bezeichnung, die es in Ƥhnlicher Form auch in anderen LƤndern gab (Spacerock) dĆ¼rften vor allem Science-Fiction-Filme gewesen sein.
Titel aus dem Bereich der Kunstmusik haben dazu beigetragen, die Musik von Klaus Schulze, Popol Vuh, Ash Ra Temple und vor allem Tangerine Dream mit Vokabular aus der Physik zu belegen.

“Ambient Waves” is a modern “update” of the music genre “Cosmic Music”, which originated in Germany in the seventies and was mainly played with electronic musical instruments (synthesizers).
Examples of this name, which existed in similar form in other countries (Spacerock) should have been mainly science fiction films.
Titles from the field of art music have contributed to the music of Klaus Schulze, Popol Vuh, Ash Ra Temple and especially Tangerine Dream with vocabulary from physics.
