Highlights of The Galway Early Music Festival, May 19-21, 2017, ‘Something Old, Something New’. A bit of an adventure for us all, featuring early choral music woven through with improvisational saxophone, recorders playing new music, clarinets playing old music, 14th-century music that challenged the musical tastes of the time and an amazing combination of local musicians, young and old, who experienced something new by playing old music.
