The 4th Ashkenaz Festival took place August 31 to Sept 2, 2002, at Harbourfront Centre, Toronto. Featured artists included Klezmer en Buenos Aires, Di Naye Kapelye, Frank London’s Klezmer Brass All-Stars, Cracow Klezmer Band, Klezperanto, Finjan, Khevrisa, Jenny Romaine, The Flying Bulgars, Beyond the Pale, Mitch Smolkin, Solomon and Socalled’s “Hip Hop Khasene,” Anthony Coleman, Theresa Tova, and many more.
