Winchester Cheese and Chilli Festival

Get ready for a weekend of flavour, fire, and family fun at the Winchester Cheese and Chilli Festival - one of the region's most exciting food events, set in the historic surroundings of Winchester.

This lively two-day festival is a celebration of outstanding British food and drink, bringing together a mouth-watering mix of artisan cheese makers, chilli growers, sauce producers, street food traders, and craft drink specialists from across the UK. Whether you love creamy, comforting flavours or crave eye-watering heat, there's something to tempt every palate.

Explore bustling market stalls, sample award-winning cheeses and dangerously hot chilli sauces (taste at your own risk!), and soak up the atmosphere. Enjoy chilli-eating competitions, live cooking demonstrations, and a full programme of live music and entertainment throughout the day. From sizzling street food and loaded fries to indulgent sweet treats and refreshing drinks, you'll be spoilt for choice.

The Winchester Cheese and Chilli Festival is proudly family-friendly, with plenty to keep children entertained. Expect fairground rides, interactive activities, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a perfect day out for all ages. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome, so the whole family can join in.

Set in a fantastic outdoor location, this festival is about more than just food - it's about community, discovery, and enjoying a brilliant summer weekend together. Come with friends, bring the family, meet passionate producers, and experience the very best of cheese, chilli, and live entertainment.

Big flavours. Great vibes. An unmissable Winchester event.
