Truck Festival returns to Hill Farm in Steventon, Oxfordshire from 23-26 July with a wide swathe of music set across a large, but not challenging site.

Born in 1998 from a family’s celebration, Truck has grown into a familiar four-day midsummer scene, where multiple stages and informal spaces blend emerging names with more familiar performers in a countryside setting.

Across main and side stages there’s a mix of guitar-leaning bands, electronic-tinged sets and a scattering of experimental and indie currents.

Headlining slots are shared among The Maccabees, The Libertines, The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club and CMAT, with further contributions from Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream, The Vaccines, Circa Waves, Everything Everything and The Cribs. The wider bill threads through a varied roster including Friendly Fires, We Are Scientists, The Royston Club, Radio Free Alice, Black Honey, Kid Kapichi and a range of newer acts and local artists. Beyond the music, Truck’s layout encourages wandering: smaller performance areas, communal spots and family-friendly camping zones intertwine with food stalls and art spots.
