The American singer-songwriter Dean Friedman is thrilled to announce the return of ‘SongFest’ in 2023. Now in its fourth year, SongFest is a micro-music festival celebrating exceptional songs and their creators. The event will take place on August 26th and 27th, 2023, at Draycote Hotel in Rugby, offering a unique and intimate music experience.

The impressive Artist Lineup for this year’s SongFest includes renowned singer-songwriters like Chris Difford (of Squeeze), Richard Digance, Boothby Graffoe, Tracey Curtis, Lach, Ben Norris, Charlotte Campbell, Martha Bean, Jess Silk, Nia Nicholls, and Dean Friedman himself.

SongFest stands out as an alternative to the hype and crowds of major music festivals, catering to a dedicated audience and fostering a sense of community among like-minded individuals and artists. With a diverse range of talented musicians and a strong sense of place, SongFest provides an authentic and personalised musical journey.

Dean Friedman, known for chart-topping hits like ‘Lucky Stars’ and ‘Lydia,’ expresses his excitement, saying, “Each one of these songwriters is uniquely talented and fiercely original, and I’m truly thrilled and honoured that they’ve agreed to join me at SongFest.”

Tickets for SongFest can be purchased at www.SongFest.live. Early Bird 2-day festival passes are priced at £64, and day tickets are available for £48. Performances will run from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm each day, with a special audience sing-along of Beatles tunes and more following Saturday night’s performances.

Songwriting Masterclasses will also be held before each day’s performances, providing aspiring songwriters with a valuable learning opportunity.
