Festival Dranouter 2026

estival Dranouter returns in 2026 as one of Europe's most respected celebrations of folk, roots and acoustic music, set in the village of Dranouter in West Flanders. With a history stretching back to the 1970s, the festival has evolved into a beautifully balanced event that honours tradition while embracing contemporary interpretations of folk from across the world.

Programming typically spans Celtic, Americana, global roots, singer-songwriters and genre-blending artists, creating a line-up that rewards attentive listening as much as lively participation. The site itself plays a big role in the experience, combining open fields, tented stages and a relaxed village atmosphere that encourages exploration without overwhelming scale.

Audiences range from dedicated folk fans to families and curious newcomers, united by a shared appreciation for musicianship and storytelling. Beyond the music, Dranouter is known for its warm hospitality, strong food offering and a sense of calm that sets it apart from louder, high-impact festivals.

It's a place to slow down, discover new artists and enjoy performances that linger long after the final note. For anyone seeking depth, diversity and a genuinely human festival experience, Festival Dranouter remains a standout on the international circuit.More information: festivaldranouter.be
