Ben MacDonald is a guitarist of real presence and authority. With his new trio featuring Brodie Jarvie (bass) and Stephen Henderson (drums) he delivers an exquisitely lyrical set blending strong folk and Brazilian influences into jazz inspired by the Scottish wilderness.
Pianist and composer, Tom Gibbs is world class. His joyous melodies combine with an underlying grittiness to create, rich moods, and shape-shifting soundscapes. His music simmers with energy and invention and his band always feature great players. He is joined by Andrew Robb (bass) and Alyn Cosker (drums).
