It’s just under two weeks until Hidden Door​ returns to Leith and under three weeks until we co-host Submotion Orchestra​, London Afrobeat Collective and James Brown Is Annie​ for an amazing night of music on 1 June in the old Leith Theatre.
Headliners Submotion Orchestra make their Edinburgh come back and bring with them music from their brand new album, Kites. Drawing upon soul, ambient electronica, jazz and dub, their unique music is delicate and heavy, spacious and dense, highly atmospheric but firmly rooted.
