Thrill Festival presents the Toine Thys Trio feat. Herve SAMB + Colin Steele Quintet, on Saturday the 9th February.
Belgium is inextricably linked with Jazz, not least because it is the homeland of Adolph Sax- inventor of the saxophone! Join us at St Bride’s as this Beligian/Scottish double bill showcases exciting contemporary jazz and blues from both nations- with plenty of Sax! Belgian saxophonist Thys leads his classic soul-blues trio with a special guest appearance from Hervé Samb. Scottish-born trumpeter Colin Steele, plays with his acclaimed quintet, offering us ear-catching melodies and sumptuous Celtic-tinged rhythms.
